Just a quick update as we enter another period of Lockdown.
Firstly I hope you and yours are all well and keeping going under these very difficult circumstances for everyone. I’ve just finished day 1 of home schooling, and I already know the next 6 weeks are going to be significantly tougher than last April!
Optometry practices are counted as essential, and as such we will be open and try to assist you in any way that we can in these difficult times. We would ask that anyone that has a need to come to the practice makes an appointment for track and trace purposes, as well as to ensure that we limit the number of people in the building to safe levels. Please DO NOT visit us without arranging an appointment first, I appreciate it’s not the way we have operated in the past but we have no choice now. I’m sorry if we turn you away if you do visit us without arranging something in advance but as I’m sure you appreciate, all our safety is of paramount importance and this is the only way I can ensure that.
I can also reassure you that we have taken every step possible to ensure your safety in the present situation within the practice.
If there are any changes to our practices enforced by new advice and from my experience last year things did change as we entered Lockdown so please bear with us. I will post updates on our website and on social media, follow me on Twitter at amar_optician. If you have any queries or concerns about your vision, please contact us, and we will do whatever we can to help. If you are due your routine follow up examination I would kindly ask that at this time we wait and see you when things are more normal…… whatever that is.
Take care and best wishes
Amar,Kim, Sarah and James
